Make-A-Fort panels are made from an upgraded cardboard that is much stronger and much more durable than normal shipping box cardboard. To put this to the test, we placed bricks on a Make-A-Fort panel and a on a piece of cardboard cut the same size from a normal shipping box. The Make-A-Fort panel easily held three heavy bricks. The normal shipping box cardboard collapsed with about half the weight of a single brick. The Make-A-Fort panel was over 6x stronger than normal shipping box cardboard.
Note: We do not recommend putting heavy weights on the Make-A-Fort panels like this but did so just to demonstrate this isn’t typical flimsy cardboard.

We have lots of fun with these fort building kits. We always run low on the little black pieces that hold the forts together, so you should allow us to buy extra or include more. They take up lots of space when built, but the kids love setting up the forts. We have built outside, but always take them down same day.

Bought two sets…and we’re still going strong with different configurations, coloring, bracing & learning😂 Love it! I’m having a lot of fun with them (kids range 5-11). Great gift and my only suggestion if you’re planning on buying one or two is buy extra dots.

We gave this to our grandchildren (ages, 4 and 2) and they love it. They helped their dad (our son) set it up and played with/in it the entire time they were visiting us for the holidays. Then when it was time for them to head home, packing up in the box was quick and easy. Love this product and highly recommend.

Santa delivered four boxes worth of Make-a-Fort fun on Christmas. The gift was a surprise, as our 8 and 10-year-old daughters had never seen it before. Santa knew, though, that fort-making is their favorite thing to do. We’ve had forts made out of furniture cushions, pillows, blankets, ottomans, barstools and gymnastics mats since they could walk.
First thing on Christmas morning they hauled all four boxes into the family room and got to work. In less than an hour they had a 3-story structure built. The next day that structure came down and a fantastic labyrinth was constructed. As our 8-year-old said, “Best fort ever!” We also love how they work together to build. It was very easy for them to figure out. They did it all on their own without looking at instructions.
Highly recommend!
