My 12 year old son and friend used two kits to create opposing forts for a Nerf battle. Fun building and fun battling each other. The holes between panels even worked to shoot at each other.

Bought two build kits for my four year old grandson. My grandson and husband built a fort in about 30 minutes. He then laughed and giggled running in and out of the fort. Great product.

FAQ

What ages is it for?

The toy is targeted at kids 4 years old and above.  At 4-6 years old, they will likely need help building things.  Ages 7 and above can likely build on their own.

What do the yellow braces do?

Each Build Kit includes 10 yellow braces.  The braces are optional but can be used in corners to make the corners stronger.

Why do the panels have red and yellow slots?

The panels have a set of red slots and a set of yellow slots along each edge.  The red slots tend to be a bit more snug and the yellow slots tend to be a bit less snug.  You only need to use two connectors between panels -- use whichever color slots you think works best.

How many connectors should I use between panels?

Normally, you only need to use two connectors to connect two panels together (use either the red or yellow slots).

However, it's sometimes useful to use all four slots between two panels if you find you need the extra strength.

Can the panels be colored?

Yes, the characters on the panels were designed to be colored with crayons, markers, or even paint.  Color the panels to look however you wish.

Is the toy eco-friendly?

Yes, all the cardboard is made from recycled cardboard and can be recycled again at the end of the life of the toy.

How many kits should I buy?

You can build a variety of things with a single kit but most customers choose to buy two or more kits.  This allows building more types of things and bigger things.

Can I build with it outside?

The Make-A-Fort Build Kits were designed to build temporary structures inside.  Most of the build kit is made of cardboard and any rain or wind is going to be a big problem.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on all orders to the continental US.  Orders outside the continental US will calculate an appropriate shipping fee.

Can I return it if I don't like it?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 14 days from the date of purchase.  You are responsible for return shipping costs.

All panels & braces made from recycled cardboard
