We love to use our imagination and just build. That changed once’s we got the step by step guide. Older kids like my 7 year old know to crawl carefully, but if you also have a 3 year old like mine, you are going to want to follow the guide to secure all pieces and make it sturdy. Play the tunes and start building. Beware… you will want to buy more kits 🙂

We were so excited to receive our instruction booklet! My 6 year old is always looking for new builds with his Make-A-Fort pieces and this was exactly what we needed to expand our creative thinking!

This is kit #2 (we wanted an even bigger fort) our grandson is 3 & is absolutely obsessed with it! Easy assembly & tear down. Small & convenient to store away in the semi flat box! This picture is 2 full sets. Highly recommend:)

I got 2x regular kits and they shipped super fast and delivered on the promised day. They're super good quality and easy to build!! My 7 and 3 year old love it!!! As well as my husband and myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting 2 kits instead of 1 if you can!

The kit was a Christmas gift for 7 & 4 year old grandchildren. They were immediately into it with the 4 year old able to insert the foam pieces and the 7 year old able to insert the panels. It was a little house, then a fort with a tunnel and finally a little food shop all before dinner. Their parents are happy that it folds down into a small box for storage, too. Even the cat found the foam pieces fun to bat around!

Bought this for Christmas, thought ups had lost the package. Emailed make a fort and they responded quickly with solutions. Realized I had actually received the box and misidentified it for another present. Oops. Super glad that they responded on Christmas Eve. Great company to work with

So great for encouraging creativity and free play. I was worried about not having much space but it’s fun and flexible for any space. They got straight into making a ‘puppy shelter’ and a climbing tower for over the sofa.

This kit exceeded my expectations in so many ways and my 7 yr grandson is over the moon excited about how big it is. Packaging was top-notch, diagram was easy to follow and the design was great! Highly recommend!

This really helps the kids with being creative and off screen most of the time. My boy loves to show off his building skills to me! I ended up buying 3 start kits because my kids loved it so much.

We received our Explorer Kit very quickly. Have it to my 4 y.o. yesterday during his bday party and as soon as I started pulling it out ALL of the kids were running over to get involved. Kinda old school and too see a handful of 4-7 year olds playing in a fort instead of modern day toys with all the light, sirens and moving parts for my heart. I had five little foremen telling me how it should be built and after a quick demonstration I let them take it on... So awesome to watch the thinking and creativity go into building a fort. Day 1 and it's easily my favorite gift. More importantly, my little boy is ready to start a new building today.

With two energetic granddaughters (10 and 7 yrs) we were looking for a sustainable, collaborative building kit for the whole family. Make-a-Fort has been a brilliant find. We've had elaborate dens, forts, homes for their cat, a jewellery shop with secret tunnel, and most recently an enormous “Chief Dancing Examiners Desk”, at which they sat completing self-made Certificates of Achievements for their ancient grandparents' dancing efforts (to Mama Mia songs).

We were very happy with this product. It was purchased for our grandsons for Christmas. I helped create our first "fort" with my son and daughter-in-law by modifying a design that we saw online so that it fit into the space we had. Our fort had several entrances, 2 towers and a room with a ceiling towards the back that even I could sit in. It was quick and easy to assemble once you got the hang of it. The kids loved the result and we are all looking forward to seeing what they can build with it.

My kids are very much into the technology and i wanted to get them away from this. i saw this and instantly i knew this was the thing that might be able to draw their eyes away from the screen. Its perfect. they love helping build it and setting their cushions and lights up in it and also they love colouring it in. it has ticked all of the boxes. was worried about the strength and how it would hold up. the cats jumped on it and it still remained in tact! i had one little query when the goods arrived but that was resolved immediately. cannot thank the customer services enough for the quick response and resolution

Our grandchildren are delighted with the kid. Today we have built a small coffee and sweet tasting shop.
This product is a good idea because all children like to take shelter and hide in small buildings!
And the online purchase process and post-purchase service works perfectly.

These fort kits are awesome! Well constructed, and such a great value! My 9 and 13 year olds have been making forts with them, and having fun bonding together! A perfect gift!

Put it this way. In the space of 24 hours, 3 different dens were built from the 1 explorer kit. My daughter has always loved building dens and this is incredible for it. No mess, easy to set up and easy to pack away. Also, if I'm honest, it makes building the dens for her so much fun as well as you know this is a den that will stay up. Absolutely amazing kit.

My son loves this thing and it is a fun activity to do together. When he is a bit older I think he will be able to start making his own creations but as a 4 year old he still needs help. I purchased one explorer kit. Unfortunately in the chaos of Christmas we lost some of the black connector pucks and make-a-Fort kindly sent us replacements. Very happy with customer service.

We bought for our almost 4 year old son for Christmas and he loves it! Easy to put together, easy to store and he plays for hours. My only complaint, and I'm still giving 5 stars, is that it's made out of cardboard and somewhat flimsy. He really wants to climb on it and it won't hold any weight. It would be awesome if a future one was made of something a little sturdier. But that said, we love what we have and will enjoy it for a long while to come! Thanks!

I bought the kit for my 3 nephews - aged 3, 5, 7 - and it was the biggest hit of a gift I’ve ever given. They spend all their time playing in the Fort. I’m so happy with the kit and the customer service received. I will definitely buy this again for my other nephews when they’re old enough to build and enjoy these forts!

We gave our children (4 and 1) an Explorer Kit for Christmas, and they are thrilled! Since our kit was missing one panel, I contacted customer service, and my issue was handled and resolved to my greatest satisfaction in no time! I have never experienced such competent and excellent customer service! Absolute recommendation for purchase!

We got a kit for Christmas and my 4 years old loves it. The mounting system is intuitive enough that he was able to build his own house. We had a minor issue with our kit and customer support went above and beyond expectations.

This was a last-minute purchase after I saw an ad on Facebook. I wasn't sure my 8 & 10 year olds would still be interested. It was BY FAR their favorite gift. I got two sets. They spent a couple hours building and helping each other, then filled their fort with pillows, blankets, lamps, twinkle lights, and their other Christmas gifts! They're already talking about taking them to the basement to make a bigger creation together. (I also plan to send them to their sleepover this week to play with friends!)

Fantastic! The kids said repeatedly that it was the coolest, best gift they received (and they got several other great ones!) and they’re already asking for more expansions (they started with 3!). They spent hours transforming the rec room into a giant fort/tunnel/maze, and they’re quickly learning how to make things stable and how to problem solve. They’ve been super creative already and are excited to have a sleepover and movie night in there with their cousins. 10/10 Recommend! - Homeschool mom win! Successfully got them off their iPads! 😉

We purchased 2 Explorer kits for our 4 & 6 year old grandkids. We put together one kit on Christmas morning and they LOVE it! Can’t wait to make a bigger creation with them using 2 kits.
